Tess graduated from Deakin University Medical School in 2012. She worked and trained for three years as a hospital and emergency doctor at the Austin and Monash Health before moving into general practice. She has completed a post-graduate certificate in Emergency Medicine. She is a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP). .
Tess enjoys all aspects of general practice and has particular intersts in emergency medicine, women's health and paediatrics. She also has an interest in mindfulness and nutrition.
Before studying medicine Tess was a playwright in residence at a major theatre company in Toronto, Canada. She's had her plays produced overseas and in Australia and she currently writes and medical advises for a number of television shows. When she's not working as a GP or writing, Tess enjoys spending time with her two children, running, hiking and travelling.
Tess consults at South Yarra Medical on Tuesday, Wednesday afternoon/evening and Friday an every second Saturday.
