Dr Josie Carne

Dr Josie Carne completed her medical degree in Western Australia in 2019. Prior to commencing her training in general practice, she worked as a junior doctor at The Royal Perth Hospital and subsequently at Monash Health gaining experience in the general medical specialties, emergency medicine and paediatrics. She was drawn to General Practice because she values the continuity of care it fosters and the opportunity to care for patients over a longer period of time, through different life transitions. Josie is interested in all aspects of general practice, however her key areas of interest include Women’s and sexual health, chronic disease management and paediatrics.

Outside of practicing Medicine, Josie is an avid runner, dog-lover and footy fanatic!
