Influenza Vaccination Clinic

Influenza Vaccination Clinic

The Department of Health recommends that Flu vaccinations are given annually to all adults and all children over 6 months!

  • The latest version of the flu vaccine is typically available from April each year
  • To manage the huge patient demand, we roster Flu clinics at specific time brackets within a day
  • Such appointments are of shorter duration and can’t cover other topics
  • For patients not eligible for a free vaccine, the flu shot costs $30
  • We also anticipate we will be providing Coronavirus vaccinations to our patients in the future when it’s released

Free vaccinations are available for many patients

  • All children aged 6 months to less than 5 years (not free after 5th birthday)
  • All adults aged 65 years and over
  • All people aged from six months with medical conditions predisposing them to severe influenza; for example severe asthma, lung or heart disease, low immunity or diabetes
  • Pregnant Women (during any stage of pregnancy)
  • All Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people from 6 months of age and over
